What You'll Actually Build

Each module focuses on shipping something real. You'll work with version control, deployment pipelines, and debugging challenges that mirror professional development cycles.

1

Foundation & Core Concepts

JavaScript fundamentals, DOM manipulation, and responsive design patterns. We start with vanilla JS because understanding the language matters more than framework shortcuts.

Weeks 1-3
2

Backend Architecture

Node.js, Express routing, database design with PostgreSQL. You'll build RESTful APIs and learn authentication patterns that scale beyond tutorial examples.

Weeks 4-7
3

Modern Frontend Frameworks

React ecosystem including hooks, context, and state management. Plus Next.js for server-side rendering and routing that actually makes sense in production.

Weeks 8-11
4

Deployment & Team Workflows

Git collaboration, CI/CD pipelines, cloud deployment on AWS or Vercel. This is where individual projects become portfolio pieces employers take seriously.

Weeks 12-16

Where Graduates Are Now

Developer working on application with modern development setup showing multiple code editors and testing environments

"I switched from graphic design to development through this program. What surprised me most was how much time we spent on debugging and problem-solving — not just writing new code. Three months after graduating, I landed a junior frontend role at a consulting firm."

Margot Beauchamp

Frontend Developer, Digital Consulting Group

"The instructors pushed us to understand why things work, not just copy-paste solutions. That mindset shift made job interviews way less stressful because I could explain my decisions. Now I'm building internal tools for a logistics company and actually enjoying the work."
